We started to look at IP cameras more than ten years ago, but in the last few years High Definition IP (HD IP) cameras have become much more cost effective and reliable. We are now authorised partners with leading industry manufacturers such as Axis, Avigilon, Mobotix, Acti and Milestone Systems.
HD IP CCTV systems can be monitored in real time at high definition video resolution.
Integrated Technology
In terms of loss prevention, CCTV systems act in a multitude of ways, not just on a deterrence basis. Digital recordings can be used for evidential purposes, for example in H&S related claims, often negating the need for costly and time consuming litigation.
CCTV systems can also now facilitate AUTHORISED ACCESS such as out of hour’s deliveries whilst activating / deactivating locks remotely.
With the escalating costs associated with man guarding CCTV systems, technology can add immeasurably to site security in the commercial marketplace. Together with intruder alarms, CCTV systems act as a powerful deterrent to unauthorised access.
Linked with a monitored ARC, once an alarm has been activated, the ARC is able to directly inform the intruder (via public address intervention) that they are being monitored and that the arrival of the police is imminent.
Available technologies are numerous from simple static cameras to fully functional PTZ (pan, tilt and zoom cameras), together with the widespread availability of multiplexed digital recorders, CCTV systems technology is proving a cost effective alternative to man guarding.

Using the very latest in technology, we are able to offer a quality service. All our engineers now utilise Mobile Data Transfer, enabling us to direct the nearest engineer to your site, ensuring an even faster response.
Mobile Data Transfer allows the engineer to create a job sheet for the call and obtain a signature for the call removing the need for excessive paperwork that can go missing.

MAC Security & Fire only offer comprehensive service, maintenance and preventative maintenance contracts.
We believe that if a company is making money out of faults from a client with a maintenance contract, there isn’t an incentive to service and repair faults in a careful and professional way.
